The great Canon V Nikon debate......

While in Galway last weekend for a photowalk, we took a trip up to Lough Corrib, one of Europe’s best trout fishing lakes. There a lots of little harbours dotted around the lake shore where fishing boats wait for paying customers. One thing that struck me as odd was that most of the boats still had their engines attached! You wouldn’t see that on this side of the country – the engines would be lifted before you got back to your car!

Anyway, this pair of engines reminded me of the great Canon V Nikon debate. Which camera is best? Which engine is best – Honda or Mercury? Does it really matter? If you need to get from A to B in your boat, will you care what brand of engine is getting you there? I don’t think so. Does a Canon camera take better pictures than a Nikon? Too feicin right it does!
