My view of the world around me.
Spent most of the day in Navan Rugby Club where they made an attempt at a Guinness World Record for the most number of rugby passes. Of course it was all in aid of a very worthy cause, Action Breast Cancer and everyone who took part gotĀ themselvesĀ one of the distinctive pink t-shirts. 320 men women and children spaced themselves around the pitch and tried to pass the ball from one to the other without dropping it. If the ball was dropped, they had to start all over again.
You’d imagine it was pretty easy but after about 10 attempts they gave up, but not without setting a new Irish record. Not sure how much money was raised but judging by the huge crowd that attended it was a fair big sum.
I even won a prize in the raffle afterwards – two tickets to Fairyhouse!
