An early morning start brought myself and Jonathan (his blog post is here) to another abandoned building. This time to a huge factory not too far from Dublin which closed in 2008 and moved production to China. While most of the factory is bare we were surprised to find the laboratories still intact including the various chemicals and machines. This corner stank like hell from all the concentrated colourings, flavourings and E numbers. I never knew that orange and rasberry came in little aluminum cans, there’s me thinking they grew on trees and bushes.
Next time your little ones asks for a cool pop, gobstopper or golf ball chewing gum, think about what they are putting in their mouths.
