Taken on a recent expedition to the Holy Rosary Convent in Killeshandra, Co. Cavan. Inside the church standing where the altar used to be and looking up at the stained glass windows – or what remains of them after the fire there last year. What a shame the building is soon to be levelled because the owners can’t afford to keep it insured. A small piece of Irish history will be lost with the demolition of this convent which is a crying shame.
Even if it holds bad memories for some people, it was an integral part of Irish life during the 20th century.

Wow, got dizzy looking. What a mad angle! Like.
i like too. the rust/paint marks on the walls give it a macabre edge.
Great that you have recorded this piece of history. It looks like the walls are weeping tears of blood.
